

Ms Beth Ivimey OAM
Beth has been an active CNSA oncology nurse for many years.
For the past 20 years putting her passion & energy into lung cancer. In particular, focussing on nurse education & patient advocacy.
Beth was the Inaugural Chair of the International Thoracic Oncology Nurses Forum (ITONF), was the Vice Chair of the Australia & New Zealand Lung Cancer Nurses Forum (ANZLCNF).
Beth has been an invited speaker at international & national lung cancer & oncology conferences & was the first nurse to be welcomed to the International Association Society for Lung Cancer & chaired the first lung cancer nursing track when Australia hosted the World Lung Cancer Conference in 2013.
In December 2022 Beth was diagnosed with inoperable cholangiocarcinoma.
Beth is the proud recipient of being awarded an OAM on Australia Day 2024.
Beth is a keen advocate for Omico - genomic testing, Liver Foundation & NECTA supporting Clinical Trials in Australia.
Beth had the privilege of returning to her beloved work in February 2025.
